NBA results Tuesday 27 October 2026: AI predictions review
NBA results for Tuesday 27 October 2026: the ten-model AI consensus went 4 of 6, missing on the Bucks-Pacers and Nuggets-Warriors calls. Full review and…
Six games, ten models, one consensus per tip-off. Tuesday 27 October 2026 finished with the TuringStats panel at 4 of 6 correct — a solid night on paper, undone by two calls the models made with near-total agreement and lost anyway.
The biggest surprise came in Denver, where all ten models backed the Nuggets and the Warriors won by 20. The second miss was more evenly split: a 60% lean towards Indiana in Milwaukee that the Bucks answered with a 110-102 win. Four unanimous or near-unanimous picks landed as expected, keeping the record in positive territory.

Full-time scenes from a six-game night that split the models 4 of 6.
Where the AI got it right
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Phoenix Suns prediction — The strongest signal of the night. All ten models took Oklahoma City at an average confidence of 66%, and the Thunder delivered 125-114. The most common projected score of 110-102 undershot the actual total by some distance, but the winner was never in doubt for the panel.
Houston Rockets vs Atlanta Hawks prediction — A clean 100% consensus for Houston at 59% average confidence, and a 120-110 home win to match. The models' most common score of 118-112 was close on the margin; the Rockets simply added a little more on both ends.
Utah Jazz vs Memphis Grizzlies prediction — Memphis drew all ten votes at 63% confidence and won 110-105 in Salt Lake City. The panel's 116-117 projection overstated the scoring, but the road winner was called correctly.
Boston Celtics vs Brooklyn Nets prediction — Nine of ten models backed Boston at 59% average confidence, and the Celtics scraped home 125-124. The most common score of 118-112 was well short of the actual total, and the one-model dissent looks better with every point of that one-point margin.
Where it got it wrong
Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers prediction — The panel leaned Indiana, with 60% of the ten models taking the Pacers at an average confidence of 57%. The most common projected score was 122-123, a shootout. Milwaukee won 110-102 instead, and neither side reached the models' expected range. This was the least unified call of the night, so the miss costs less than the raw record suggests.
Denver Nuggets vs Golden State Warriors prediction — The night's clear failure. All ten models picked Denver at 59% average confidence, with a most common score of 114-108. Golden State won 134-114, a 20-point margin in the opposite direction. The Nuggets' 114 matched the projection exactly; the defensive side of the forecast collapsed entirely, and the models' confidence looks badly misplaced in hindsight.
Models of the day
Four models topped the table at 5 of 6: GPT-5.6 Luna, Grok 4.6, Gemini 3.8 Flash and GLM 5.3. Each dropped a single game, and with the Warriors result catching every model out, that miss was effectively unavoidable across the panel.
A middle group of five finished at 4 of 6 — Mistral Medium 3.5, DeepSeek V4 Pro, Qwen 3.8 Max, MiMo V2.6 Pro and Kimi K3 — matching the overall consensus record exactly.
Claude Sonnet 5 brought up the rear at 3 of 6, the only model below the consensus line. It was the sole model to miss a third game beyond the two that tripped the panel as a whole.
