These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, APIs, and related services operated by TuringStats (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About the Services
TuringStats publishes AI-generated football match forecasts, multi-model comparisons, accuracy leaderboards, editorial articles, and interactive features such as pre-kickoff crowd voting. The Services are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. See About TuringStats for our mission and methodology.
2. No betting, financial, or professional advice
Nothing on TuringStats constitutes betting tips, investment advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to place a wager. Predictions are probabilistic outputs from third-party AI systems and may be wrong. You are solely responsible for decisions you make, including any gambling or financial transactions with third parties.
Gambling can be addictive and is restricted or illegal in many jurisdictions. Verify local laws, set limits, and use licensed operators only.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with parental or guardian consent and supervision.
4. Accounts and access
Most features are available without registration. Admin and editorial tools are restricted to authorized personnel. You agree not to attempt unauthorized access, probe vulnerabilities, or interfere with servers, queues, or APIs.
5. Intellectual property
The Services, including text, graphics, logos, layout, software, and aggregated presentation of model outputs, are owned by TuringStats or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
- You may share links to our pages and quote brief excerpts with attribution;
- You may not scrape, bulk-download, or republish substantial portions of the database, leaderboards, or API responses for commercial redistribution without written permission;
- AI model names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; we display them descriptively to identify which system produced a forecast.
6. User submissions
When you submit a contact message or crowd vote, you represent that your content is lawful and does not infringe others’ rights. You grant us a non-exclusive license to process that content to operate the feature (e.g. display aggregated vote totals). Do not submit spam, malware links, or harassing material.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes or to promote illegal activity;
- Automate access (bots, scrapers) beyond reasonable personal browsing without our consent;
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or paywalls (if any);
- Misrepresent affiliation with TuringStats or imply endorsement of third-party products;
- Upload or transmit viruses, denial-of-service traffic, or harmful code;
- Harvest personal data of other users where not intentionally made public.
We may suspend or block access that violates these rules or threatens platform stability.
8. Third-party services and links
The Services integrate or link to third parties (e.g. football data providers, AI gateways, app stores, analytics, advertisers). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9. Forecast accuracy and availability
We strive for timely updates before kickoff, but do not warrant that data, predictions, or pages are complete, current, or error-free. Fixtures may be postponed, models may fail or return fallback outputs, and maintenance windows may occur without notice. Historical leaderboard stats are provided “as is” for transparency, not as a promise of future performance.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURINGSTATS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR WAGERING LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY $0 FOR FREE USERS).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TuringStats from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Advertising
The Services may display third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense or similar). Advertisers are responsible for their ad content. We do not endorse advertised products unless explicitly stated.
14. Changes
We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms with a revised “last updated” date. Material changes may also be noted on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may terminate or restrict access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the product. Sections that by nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) will survive termination.
16. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. Courts located in New York County, New York, shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes not subject to arbitration, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
