ChatGPT vs Gemini vs Claude vs Grok: Same Questions, Different Answers, and Which AI Is Most Accurate
We gave ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and six more AIs the same questions and graded them on 2,303 real sports predictions. Claude is the most accurate in football, ChatGPT the most confident. Full results.
Which AI is best: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Grok? Most comparisons answer with feature tables and a few hand-picked prompts. We took a different route. We gave the same questions to ten AI models at the same time and looked at where they agree and where they split, and we checked which model has the best record on more than 2,300 real sports predictions that were graded after the final whistle. The models: GPT-5.6 (the model family behind ChatGPT), Gemini 3.8 Flash, Claude Sonnet 5, Grok 4.6, plus DeepSeek V4 Pro, Qwen 3.8 Max, Mistral Medium 3.5, Kimi K3, GLM 5.3 and MiMo V2.5 Pro.
Same question, different answers
On 11 October 2026 we asked every model five yes-or-no questions. Here is how the four big names voted:
- Will AI replace most entry-level programming jobs by 2030? ChatGPT yes (78%), Gemini yes (75%), Claude no (62%), Grok yes (70%). All 10 models: 5 yes, 5 no.
- Quit a stable job with 6 months of savings to start a business? ChatGPT no (83%), Gemini no (85%), Claude no (55%), Grok no (82%). All 10: 9 no, 1 yes.
- Still worth learning a second language in 2027? ChatGPT yes (97%), Gemini yes (95%), Claude yes (90%), Grok yes (85%). All 10: yes.
- Are fully remote workers more productive? ChatGPT no (84%), Gemini no (65%), Claude no (55%), Grok no (55%). All 10: 8 no, 2 yes.
- Is a university degree still worth the cost? ChatGPT yes (78%), Gemini yes (65%), Claude yes (68%), Grok yes (72%). All 10: 9 yes, 1 no.
Two patterns stand out. First, on the genuinely open question (AI and programming jobs) the big four do not agree: ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok say yes, Claude says no. Second, Claude is consistently the least confident on contested questions (55–68%), while ChatGPT tends to sound the most certain (78–97%). Neither is wrong to do so, but it changes how you should read a single answer: a confident ChatGPT reply is not more likely to be right just because it sounds sure.

Where they all agree
We also ran opinion polls. On the biggest sports debates the models were unanimous: all ten picked Lionel Messi as the greatest footballer, Michael Jordan as the greatest NBA player, Tom Brady as the greatest quarterback and the Premier League as the best league. They split on questions with no settled answer, such as the fairest way to decide a drawn knockout match (7 penalty shootout, 3 replay, with Claude, Gemini and Grok voting for a replay). Which AI is the most accurate? The graded record
Opinions cannot be checked. Predictions can. Every football, NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL game on TuringStats is predicted by the same ten models before it starts, then graded after the result. As of 11 October 2026 the record covers 2,303 finished matches. Football is the biggest sample, with 1,291 graded matches. Share of correct results (home win, draw or away win):
- Claude Sonnet 5: 51.2% (661 of 1,291)
- DeepSeek V4 Pro: 49.4%
- Gemini 3.8 Flash: 48.6%
- Grok 4.6: 48.1%
- Qwen 3.8 Max: 47.7%
- Mistral Medium 3.5: 47.4%
- GPT-5.6 (ChatGPT): 46.8%
- MiMo V2.5 Pro: 45.9%
A random guess gets 33% and always backing the home team gets 45%, so every model beats chance, but the gaps are small. In football, Claude is the most accurate and ChatGPT's model is near the bottom. The ranking changes by sport: in the NFL (65 games so far) Grok leads with 64.6%. The most reliable signal is not any single model at all: when all ten models agree on a football result, they are right about 62% of the time, well above any individual model. The live table is on the AI prediction leaderboard.
So which AI should you use?
- For a quick, confident answer: ChatGPT. Just remember that confidence is its style, not proof.
- For careful reasoning on a hard question: Claude, which flags uncertainty more honestly and leads our graded football record.
- For an important decision: do not pick one. Ask several and look at the split. A 10-0 vote and a 5-5 vote call for very different levels of trust.

Frequently asked questions
Is Claude better than ChatGPT?
On our graded record of 1,291 football matches, Claude Sonnet 5 picked the correct result 51.2% of the time against 46.8% for GPT-5.6. On opinion questions there is no right answer to grade, but Claude is noticeably less overconfident.
Is Gemini or Grok more accurate?
In football they are almost level (48.6% vs 48.1%). In the NFL Grok is clearly ahead so far (64.6% vs 55.4%), though the sample is still small.
What is the most accurate AI overall?
No single model wins everywhere. The combined vote of all ten models, when they agree, beats every individual model.
