Bundesliga title: 10 of 10 pick Bayern
All ten models have Bayern München as champions. Bayern are 2nd right now; current leaders Borussia Dortmund (1st, 12 pts) are predicted to finish 2nd by every model.
Champions League places: a rare unanimous top four
Every model picked the same top four, in the same order: Bayern, Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig. Leipzig are only 9th today, so the models expect a strong recovery.
- SC Freiburg: 3rd now, predicted 6th
- VfB Stuttgart: 15th now, predicted 7th (the panel's biggest expected climb)
Bundesliga relegation predictions
The bottom two go down directly and 16th plays a relegation play-off. Here the panel is far less sure than at the top:
- Union Berlin: relegated by 6 of 10 models (now 17th, 1 pt)
- SV Elversberg: 4 of 10 (now 7th)
- SC Paderborn: 4 of 10 (now 12th)
- Hamburger SV: 4 of 10 (now 16th)
- Borussia Mönchengladbach: 2 of 10, despite sitting bottom with 0 points; the average model has them 13th
How the AI table is built
- Each model receives the same current Bundesliga table and returns a full 1-to-18 finishing order with its reasoning.
- We average the predicted positions and count how many models put each club first, in the top four or in the bottom two.
- The table refreshes every week after the latest round.
