AI NFL Computer Picks 2026: How 10 AI Models Pick Every Game (and Their Record)
NFL computer picks, AI edition: ten AI models including GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok pick every NFL game straight up. So far in 2026 the AI majority is 61% right, and 70% when all ten agree. Here is how it works and where to find this week's picks.
NFL computer picks used to mean a spreadsheet model crunching yards per play and point differentials. In 2026 there is a new kind: AI language models that read injury reports, form and matchups and pick every game. Since the start of the 2026 season, TuringStats has asked ten AI models, including GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, to pick every NFL game straight up before kickoff, then graded each pick. Here is how AI NFL picks are made, how they have done, and where to find this week's.

How the AI NFL picks are made
- Every game is sent to the same panel of ten AI models with the same facts: recent results, standings and head-to-head history.
- Each model returns a straight-up winner, a predicted final score and its confidence.
- We publish the vote split (for example 9 of 10 models on the Chiefs), the average predicted score and the confidence.
- After the final whistle, every model is graded. Nothing is deleted.
How good are AI NFL picks? The 2026 record so far
Through the first 49 graded games of the 2026 season:
- Picking at random: 50% (NFL games have two outcomes; ties are rare)
- Always picking the home team: 57%
- Following the AI panel's majority: 61%
- Games where every AI agreed: 70% (30 games)
- Best single model so far: Grok 4.6, 34 of 49 (69%)
It is early. 49 games is a small sample, and the numbers will move week to week. That is exactly why we publish the full record on the AI prediction leaderboard instead of quoting a cherry-picked streak. For comparison, the same AI panel's record across more than 400 graded NHL games shows unanimous picks right about 62% of the time, and across 370+ MLB games about 59%.
How to use AI computer picks
- Start with consensus. A 10-0 vote has been far more reliable than a 6-4 split. Close splits usually mean a genuine coin flip.
- Check confidence. High-confidence AI picks have been right far more often than average ones.
- Read the reasoning. Each game page shows why each model picked its side, so you can spot a pick built on stale information.
- Remember these are straight-up picks. We do not publish picks against the spread.
