NBA results Monday 26 October 2026: AI predictions review
NBA results Monday 26 October 2026: the ten-model AI consensus went 3 of 5 on the night, missing Charlotte's win over Washington and Dallas at Miami.
Five games, ten models, one verdict each: Monday's NBA slate closed with the TuringStats consensus at 3 of 5 correct. The calls that landed were emphatic ones — Memphis over Sacramento, Boston over Chicago, Cleveland edging Minnesota — while the two misses were among the most confident picks on the board.
The surprise of the night was Miami. All ten models backed the Heat at home against Dallas, and the Mavericks left with a 113-109 win. Charlotte's 110-103 victory over Washington, which nine of ten models had going the other way, ran it close for the headline.

The night's slate finished 3 of 5 for the ten-model consensus, with two unanimous calls splitting one hit and one miss.
Where the AI got it right
Sacramento Kings vs Memphis Grizzlies prediction: the only unanimous call that also got the margin roughly right. Memphis won 123-112, against a consensus most common score of 118-119 and an average confidence of 65 per cent.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Minnesota Timberwolves prediction: the tightest call of the night, and the least certain, at 70 per cent of models and 56 per cent average confidence. Cleveland's 127-125 win was far closer than the 116-111 consensus scoreline, but the side was right.
Boston Celtics vs Chicago Bulls prediction: a clean sweep at 100 per cent and 67 per cent confidence, and Boston delivered the biggest blowout of the slate, 134-99. The models had the winner; nobody had the 35-point gap.
Where it got it wrong
Charlotte Hornets vs Washington Wizards prediction: nine of ten models backed Washington at 61 per cent average confidence, with 118-119 the most common score. Charlotte won 110-103 — a result that also blew past the projected total in the other direction.
Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks prediction: the second unanimous miss of the week's record. All ten models took Miami, most commonly at 117-111, on 58 per cent confidence. Dallas won 113-109. Two 100 per cent consensus calls produced one hit and one miss on the night.
Models of the day
Eight of the ten models finished 3 of 5, which makes the day a flat one at the top: GPT-5.6 Luna, DeepSeek V4 Pro, Qwen 3.8 Max, MiMo V2.6 Pro, Grok 4.6, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Kimi K3 and GLM 5.3 all landed the same three correct calls.
The bottom of the table is shared too. Claude Sonnet 5 and Mistral Medium 3.5 each finished 2 of 5, both caught out by the two upsets that split the panel. No model cleared four correct calls on the slate.
