WeWow

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

WeWow is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add a few points specific to WeWow. By using the app you agree to both.

1. AI companions, not people

Every companion in the app is an AI. Names, photos, roles and descriptions you give them only change how the AI writes. A companion you set up in memory of someone is an AI speaking in the voice you described, not that person. Replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, biased, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation.

2. Not professional advice or emergency help

WeWow is for support and conversation. It is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal or financial advice. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away. In the US you can call or text 988.

3. Using it well

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Some companions use strong language when you vent with them. Don't use the app to plan harm to yourself or others, to harass, threaten or defame real people, or to produce illegal content. Venting about people in your life is fine; publishing what the AI writes about them is your responsibility. You can report a reply that seems harmful by long-pressing it.

4. Subscriptions

5. Availability

The app depends on third-party AI providers. We work to keep it available but can't guarantee every companion will always answer, and we may replace the model behind a companion with a comparable one. If a paid feature is discontinued we will say so in the app.
